Colbert: Truthiness on Hulu; Only for Americans
Yesterday there was a lot of commotion around the news of The Colbert Report being featured on Hulu. On the surface, the news is just peachy: More traffic for Hulu, more Colbert for America.
But that’s just it. Only America gets to watch. In case you’ve forgotten, not everyone will get to enjoy the quick witticisms of the man who introduced “The Wørd” truthiness. For those folks who watch Stephen Colbert outside the U.S., Hulu is still off limits.
Yes, we know that perhaps only red-blooded Americans are the ones who watch Colbert, and Tom Green insisted that his online show is on “The National Internet.” But should the U.S. be so exclusive?
