Dell Mini Inspiron Gets Semi-Official: Due Out in August

Dellmininote1gallery

Dell has its crosshairs aimed at the Eee PC.

First spotted at All Things D by Blam over at Gizmodo, Dell’s 9-inch (8.9-inch?) ultraportable has now got a name and a vague release date. Called the Mini Inspiron and due out sometime in August, Dell has been tight lipped about features, specs, and pricing. But if past relationships with Microsoft are any indication, the Mini will almost certainly be paired with XP and an Atom processor. Ubuntu may also be a possibility, especially given  the trends we’ve spotted in the mini PC market as of late. Don’t fret though, the G-Lab is hard on the case to get one of these sweet, sweet machines. But, hey, you probably already new that.
